Chocolab

巧克力實驗室

Chocolab was newly established in 2019, specialising in chocolate, pâtisserie and biscuit. The owner Aga Lee, who has completed his training and worked as a pâtissier in France, was driven to introduce the high quality of chocolate to the local market.

I was approached to help recreate his business card and brochure for its new brand identity. The limited colour palette represents the rich texture of chocolate, the nature of their food resource, and the warm personality of the chef himself! We used the action of pouring chocolate to connect back and front, as well as showing every piece you get from Chocolab is warmly handmade.

Chocolat Chaud

Chocolat Chaud was one of the featured items on the menu. There were a lot of fantastic pâtisseries that the chef loved to create and explore, however, the very first one he wanted to make was chocolate.

Goal

Introducing 75% chocolate drink and chocolate using cocoa butter (obtained from the whole cocoa bean) to the local market.

Local Market

Kaohsiung located in the south of Taiwan is famous for many traditional foods, however, people can hardly find a quality Chocolatier.
